The talks between Lavrov and Wang Yi will be held in person on the sidelines of a meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Shanghai Organization member states.
It is noted that the ministers will give priority attention to the current state and prospects of the strategic partnership between Moscow and Beijing in the context of a difficult epidemiological situation, as well as practical issues on the bilateral agenda.
On September 4, Lavrov held telephone talks with the Croatian Foreign Minister.
