US President Donald Trump has revealed that another country will join the peace agreement between the UAE and Israel, which Trump will host a signing ceremony on September 15.

In a speech on Thursday evening, Trump said, "You will hear another country joining the agreement in a short time, and peace can be achieved in the Middle East."

The US President also confirmed that he had started a dialogue with the King of Saudi Arabia, Salman bin Abdulaziz, regarding peace, saying, "You will see them join."

Trump and other officials in his administration, headed by his adviser and son-in-law, Jared Kushner, had said that they expected Saudi Arabia and other countries to follow the UAE's example in recognizing Israel and normalizing relations with it.

Abu Dhabi and Tel Aviv announced that an agreement had been reached to normalize relations between them on August 13th.

The Israeli Channel 12 has previously reported that a normalization agreement has begun to mature between Israel and Bahrain, and that it is expected to announce it immediately after the signing ceremony of the Emirati-Israeli normalization agreement to be held at the White House.

The channel quoted Israeli officials as saying that a long line of countries is lining up to sign normalization agreements with Israel, and that Bahrain is currently considered the leader among them.

It also indicated that the United States is participating in the efforts made to reach an agreement between Bahrain and Israel.

After announcing normalization with the UAE, Israeli Intelligence Minister Eli Cohen said that he expected Bahrain and the Sultanate of Oman to follow the example of the UAE.

Important shift

On Wednesday, Kushner considered that the Arab League's failure to condemn the normalization agreement between the UAE and Israel constitutes an important shift in the region, and also indicated that Saudi Arabia and Bahrain allow Israeli airlines to use their airspace when heading east towards Asia.

The Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud, during his speech at the Arab League meeting last Wednesday, affirmed that the Kingdom stands with the Palestinian people.

In tweets published by the Saudi Foreign Ministry account on Twitter, the minister affirmed support for all efforts aimed at reaching a just and comprehensive solution to the Palestinian issue, enabling the Palestinian people to establish their independent state on the 1967 borders with East Jerusalem as its capital, in accordance with international legitimacy decisions and the Arab Peace Initiative.

A number of Palestinian resistance factions, including Hamas and Islamic Jihad, issued a statement declaring their condemnation of the position of the Arab League, which has abandoned its mission and duty to support the Palestinian cause and reject normalization, according to the statement.

The PLO demanded to withdraw from the university, saying that its decisions have become subject to the American and Zionist will.

The factions announced their rejection of what they described as the crime of normalization, and said that it represented a high betrayal of the Palestinian cause and the entire nation.

In the context of continuing normalization, the Emirati "Group 42" company announced the opening of an office in Israel, in which Israeli and Emirati employees will work, immediately after the signing ceremony of the normalization agreement between Tel Aviv and Abu Dhabi next week at the White House.

Israeli media quoted the company as saying that the first task of the work team will focus on finding technological solutions to diagnose people infected with the Coronavirus, and that opening an office for the company in Israel will enable it to access Israeli high-tech industries and integrate in the field of international cooperation.

In recent months, before the normalization agreement was announced, the Emirati company had signed a memorandum of understanding with the Israeli company, Nanosat, which is concerned with developing technology to diagnose Coronavirus patients.
