Unprecedented protests take place in Argentina on Wednesday where hundreds of police officers from the province of Buenos Aires protested in front of the presidential palace to demand wage increases.

Peronist President Alberto Fernandez took note of the demands while challenging the mobilization of police officers, who do not have the right to demonstrate or go on strike.

affirmed that their demands were justified, while rejecting the means chosen to express them.
