On September 7, the Minsk police department reported that they are checking the data on the disappearance of Maria Kolesnikova.

As stated in the Constitutional Court of the opposition, Kolesnikova was pushed into a car at the Belarusian-Ukrainian border, she resisted, and then tore her passport.

Later, Kolesnikova's father said that she was in remand prison no. 1 on Volodarsky in Minsk.

Belarusian leader Alexander Lukashenko commented on the situation with Maria Kolesnikova in an interview with RT and other Russian media.
