Belgian Eden Hazard angered Real Madrid with the approaching start of the new season, in which coach Zinedine Zidane is looking to rely on the best version of Hazard, who is demanding compensation for the disappointment of the first season.

The Spanish newspaper AS reported that Spanish club officials did not understand why Hazard was traveling to participate with the national team, even though he did not participate in any minute.

Coach Roberto Martinez refused to risk Hazard, who arrived at the national camp just 24 hours before Saturday's match, which ended with a 2-0 win over Denmark.

Martinez surprised everyone by keeping Hazard on the bench during the match, in which he beat Iceland 5-1, on Tuesday.

The sports management of the royal club realizes that Hazard could have requested not to be summoned to the national team camp, following the example of a number of his teammates, including the Croatian Luka Modric and the Norwegian Martin Odegaard, and exploiting the past days in order to prepare for the next season with the team.

Hazard is looking to overcome the injury problem and regain his fitness before the Real Madrid campaign begins on September 20 against Real Sociedad.

The Belgian star will be required to provide a performance that will forget the fans of Real's disappointment in the first season, which ended with his participation in 16 matches and the scoring of an orphan goal.
