On the morning of the 7th local time, Typhoon No. 10 "Poseidon" made landfall on the coast of Ulsan City, South Korea, and the entire country was within the typhoon's influence.

In addition, 65 families in Samcheok, Goseong, Gangneung, Geoje, North Gyeongsang Province, and Gyeongju in Gangwon Province, totaling 103 people, were affected by the disaster. At present, 85 people from 51 families have not returned home.
The 1998 households in North Gyeongsang Province, Gangwon, Gyeongnam, Busan, Jeonnam, and Ulsan, totaling 3,002 people, were temporarily moved to safety.
