Police about young people's drug habits: "Uses a combination of different drugs"

According to Per-Erik Lundberg, the gateway to drug addiction looks the same as before.

What has changed is that young people are now rapidly switching from cannabis to using a combination of drugs.

- Previously, people worked with cannabis for a long time and then switched to amphetamines if they had set out an addiction career ahead of them.

Now you skip many steps and work on many preparations at the same time instead, says Per-Erik Lundberg.

Some examples of efforts that the police will make during the autumn to access drugs are, for example, to search schools with drug dogs and a special group that will detect drugs in a pub environment.

To address the problem with drugs, Per-Erik Lundberg believes that more collaboration is needed between different actors and authorities.
