His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, member of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council and head of the Abu Dhabi Executive Office, visited Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City to check on the health and conditions of the injured in the gas leak accident that occurred last week in a restaurant on Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed Street in Abu Dhabi.

His Highness directed the Department of Community Development in Abu Dhabi to follow up the conditions of the injured, meet their needs, and provide all kinds of support, wishing them a speedy recovery.

His Highness also directed the concerned authorities in the emirate to review the security and safety requirements in all means of transporting, storing and delivering gas for buildings, according to the laws and regulations in force in the emirate, and updating them in accordance with the latest international practices, to ensure the best protection necessary for members of society.
