Turkish Interior Minister Suleiman Soylu announced that security teams had arrested Arjan Suleiman Bey, one of those responsible for the terrorist attack that targeted the Turkish city of Reyhanli in 2013.

Today, Tuesday, the Turkish minister said, "The aforementioned terrorist is on the wanted list and has been handed over to the Anti-Terrorism Division of the Hatay Security Directorate."

According to Turkish newspapers, Turkish intelligence managed to arrest Bait, in a qualitative operation inside Syrian territory.

Local media on Twitter published photos of Arjan Bait during his arrest in possession of his ID, belonging to the Syrian regime's intelligence.

The Anadolu Agency correspondent - quoting security sources, said on Tuesday - that the license to carry weapons that was found in the terrorist’s possession was issued by the General Command of the Army and Armed Forces - Intelligence Division of the Syrian regime.

The license card includes information about the weapon licensed to be carried, and a warning that this card is personal and "confidential" and that it is prohibited to be used by anyone other than its holder, and that anyone who finds it must return it to the Intelligence Division or the nearest police and security station.

In September 2018, the Turkish intelligence service was able to bring "Yusuf Nazik", the plot to bomb the "Rihaniyya", to Turkey, through a special operation in the Syrian city of Latakia.

During the interrogation, Nazik confessed to planning the Al-Rihaniyeh attack, which killed 53 people in 2013, based on instructions from the Syrian regime's intelligence services.
