He stated that the municipality carries out inspection campaigns and tours on a sudden and daily basis on the health and food facilities in the city within the framework of the municipality’s keenness to constantly follow up on compliance with health requirements, and to apply preventive measures set by the municipality, in accordance with the latest and best international standards used in this field, in order to preserve the health of the population of citizens And residents and visitors, and to ensure their safety.

Al-Yahyai pointed out that since the beginning of the year, the Health Control Department conducted 1147 inspection rounds, during which it sent 62 notifications, while the Environmental Control Department carried out six inspection rounds, indicating that the Veterinary Services Department conducted 937 inspection trips, during which it directed 14 notifications, and eight violations of the violating institutions. While the Hygiene and Sanitation Department carried out 30 inspection rounds.

He noted that the Health Control Department has directed barber salons (men and women) to follow a number of preventive and precautionary methods, the most important of which are the application of preventive measures at the level of hygiene, periodic sterilization procedures for tools and seats daily, and the organization of prior reservation when receiving clients, and taking into account the physical spacing of a distance of no less than two meters Between everyone and another.
