07 September 2020 Pope Francis has accepted the resignation of the elected bishop of Duluth, Minnesota, Msgr.

Michel Mulloy.

The high prelate was appointed head of the diocese of the United States only recently, on June 19, 2020. 

"Following this appointment, on August 7, 2020, the diocese of Rapid City was notified of an accusation against Father Mulloy of sexual abuse of a minor in the early 1980s ".

To communicate this is the diocese of Duluth itself.
