From the data of the ministry of health there are 1,108 more cases of Coronavirus than yesterday in Italy (overall national figure is 278,784);

with an increase of 12 deaths (the total number of victims is 35,553 people who died since the beginning of the pandemic).

There are 223 discharged and healed since yesterday, and 915 more currently positive for a total of 32,993.



Data from Lombardy


There are 109 new positive cases recorded today in Lombardy, against 9,088 swabs carried out;

6 deaths, while the number of patients admitted to intensive care increased by one unit, to 26. Healed and discharged increased (+24) and no infections were recorded in Como, Mantua and Sondrio.

The ratio between the number of swabs carried out and the positives found is 1.19%.

Patients not in intensive care: 242 (-6). On the territory, the new cases are concentrated in the province of Milan: 47, of which 27 in Milan city;

followed by Monza and Brianza, with 19 cases, Brescia with 14, Bergamo with 12, Cremona with 3, Lecco 2, Varese, Lodi and Pavia 1.



The Sicilian Region announces that of the 49 new positives today, 15 are guests of the hotspot of Lampedusa.

Campania announces that today's increase in positive cases is 218 - although the difference between the total of positive cases today and yesterday's is 260 - since 42 positive cases are to be attributed to recent days (residual screening).

Calabria reports that of the 17 new positives today, 3 are migrants.
