First, the seven women are trained in subjects such as gender equality and service for four weeks at Jobbcentrum.
The idea is that they should not just clean stairwells and public areas, even if that is the main task.
- They will also be able to help tenants with questions and be a positive ambassador for their area, says Josephine Bitschnau.

Can lead to employment
The women are employed for one year as janitors of Kfast.
- The idea is that this project will roll on and after this year they can apply for a permanent position with us or others.
At the same time, we are starting a new group, says Josephine Bitschnau.
