The Egyptian Ministry of Immigration and Egyptians Affairs Abroad confirmed that the video circulating about the assault on an Egyptian youth in the State of Kuwait is "fragmented", and does not include all the details of the incident in which a clash occurred between the parties to the incident following the attack.
The ministry stated that the incident was related to a quarrel over products in a children's play store, which ended with "an apology to the Egyptian citizen."
The ministry added that the two young men, who attacked the Egyptian youth at his workplace due to a quarrel, are being held and investigated at the police station.
The statement concluded that, in respect of the Egyptian citizen's request, his data will not be made public.
And it was a state of anger and resentment among a large number of social media users after the users of the social networking sites traded the video clip.
The clip, which witnessed widespread circulation, shows the Egyptian youth while working in an electronic games store in the Fahaheel area, having a short conversation with the attackers, trying to convince them of something, while two young men stand in front of him, and the third of them is filming the video and documenting the incident.
And the Egyptian youth did not finish his speech, until one of them slapped him in the face, before they attacked him severely and hit him to the ground, while the third young man continued to document the incident by photographing it.
