Kuwait ... thwarting a dangerous plot targeting national security
A senior Kuwaiti security source revealed that a dangerous plot targeting the national security of the country had been foiled.
The source indicated that, on Sunday, two officers were arrested, who were involved in sensitive work.
The Public Prosecution began investigating them directly, on charges of betraying the homeland and functional integrity after they stole secret documents and records related to the national security of Kuwait in 2019.
The Kuwaiti newspaper, Al-Qabas, quoted the source on its website today, Sunday, as saying that the two officers are working with a wide network, which includes soldiers, MPs, and influential people, and they leaked very dangerous documents out of Kuwait, as they monitored their communication with parties in London.
For his part, Kuwaiti MP Riyadh Al-Adasani said on the matter: "We will uncover facts, as there are complicit, delinquent and betrayal of the homeland and the job."
Al-Adasani asked whoever was talking about the deep state, understanding its paid tools today, as there are leaks about the Malaysian fund, with the complicity of some interior ministry men outside and inside Kuwait, so all of this will soon be revealed.
