“Based on the results of examination and treatment in Omsk and Berlin, doctors came to different conclusions about the causes of Alexei Navalny's illness.

Representatives of the medical community have doubts about the conclusions of the Bundeswehr laboratory staff about the presence of toxic substances in Navalny's body, "Roshal wrote.

He noted that "doctors should remain outside politics, and, in difficult clinical cases, it is the medical community that should seek answers to these difficult questions."

“Our decisions should be balanced and should not be used by politicians without support.

When doctors disagree, it is customary for us to hold joint consultations - consultations, ”added the Russian doctor.

Roshal proposed to create a joint commission with the participation of representatives of the National Medical Chamber of Russia and the Medical Chamber of Germany.

“Perhaps with the involvement of toxicologists from other countries, for consultations and an impartial final verdict on whether Alexei Navalny was poisoned or not,” Roshal said.

The doctor noted that all parties are interested in establishing the truth.

"And if we come to the conclusion that Alexei Navalny was indeed poisoned, and his serious condition is not associated with other reasons, we will demand the initiation of criminal proceedings in Russia and the adoption of the most decisive measures," Roshal added.

Earlier, he said that the Russian National Medical Chamber turned to the German Medical Chamber with a proposal to create a joint expert group to find out the reasons for Alexei Navalny's condition.

On September 2, the Federal Republic of Germany reported that the conducted research revealed a substance from the Novichok group in Navalny.

The Kremlin noted that no toxic substances had been identified in Navalny's body prior to its export to Germany.
