The United Arab Emirates, represented by the Emirates Red Crescent Authority, through its relief teams, has launched the second phase of relief aid, based on the isolation of the Majles affiliated to the Al-Tuhayat District, by distributing 200 baskets out of the total of 6000 baskets allocated for this phase, which amount to 6000 food baskets, covering the areas Which was not included in the distribution plan in its previous stage, and includes residents of the villages of At-Tuhayat, Hais, and Beit Al-Faqih, and others who are unable.

The first phase of the aid included the areas of Al-Khawkha, Al-Durayhimi, Al-Hawk and Al-Hali, and saw the distribution of 6000 food baskets to poor families, the families of the martyrs, orphans and those affected by the floods.

This support comes within the framework of the humanitarian campaign carried out by the Emirates Red Crescent Authority to provide relief to Yemeni citizens in rural and remote areas, and a continuation of the flow of relief and shelter aid to the affected families in the liberated districts.

The beneficiaries expressed their thanks to the UAE for its continuous support to them through its humanitarian arm, the Red Crescent Authority, which contributes to alleviating their suffering due to the difficult humanitarian conditions in which they live, stressing that the UAE will always be the hand extended with generosity and generosity.

For their part, relief officials at the Red Crescent office in the Yemeni West Coast said, during the distribution process: “The second phase of relief aid targets the residents of At-Tuhayat, Hais, and Beit Al-Faqih villages and others who need to restore hope to their hearts and relieve suffering from their shoulders.”

Stressing that the authority will continue its humanitarian march to reach the poor, needy and needy wherever they are.

On the other hand, the Emirates Red Crescent Authority delivered, the day before yesterday, in the Mukalla District, 10 private cars to support the departments and service institutions in Hadramout Governorate.

The Water and Sewerage Corporation in Hadramout Coast received four cars, while the Cleaning and Improvement Fund in Hadramout Coast received two cars, the Hajar District for two cars, and the Tarim District for two cars, and these cars were provided as a first payment, according to the needs raised by the authority in the governorate.

During the handover, which was attended by a number of general directors and directors of service institutions in Hadramout governorate, the head of humanitarian aid at the Emirates Red Crescent Authority in Yemen, Hamid Rashid Al Shamsi, said: This support came according to the directives of the wise leadership in the United Arab Emirates, as part of its efforts to support Public services in Hadramout governorate, and that the UAE’s interest in the service side of the governorate was clearly evident in its adoption of the project to support official authorities to support service institutions to advance their services in this field.

Al Shamsi stressed the UAE’s keenness to provide relief and humanitarian support, and to alleviate the suffering of Yemenis, starting from distributing food baskets to rehabilitating infrastructure, with attention to health, education and all other vital sectors.

In their turn, a number of general directors and directors of service institutions in Hadramout governorate, while attending the handover process, delivered speeches in which they thanked the leadership of the United Arab Emirates for the continuous generous support, and praised the efforts of the Emirates Red Crescent Authority in supporting this service file by providing it with the required needs. .
