To facilitate the arrival of a new recruit in his company, Pascal Corpet, co-founder of Bayes Impact, gives each new arrival a "buddy" who introduces him to the corporate culture.

An initiative that he defends at the forum on social and environmental responsibility of companies in Giverny, of which Europe 1 is a partner.

Arriving at a new business can be a stressful time.

Pascal Corpet, co-founder of Bayes Impact, wanted to facilitate this moment by associating a

buddy

with each new arrival.

One solution for better team cohesion among others discussed during the second forum on corporate social and environmental responsibility, which is held in Giverny and of which Europe 1 is a partner.

A referent for corporate culture

A

buddy

is a friend, a friend, in English.

But in Pascal Corpet's company, he will be an "integration buddy" who will introduce the newcomer "to the whole culture and wealth of the company".

The

buddy

is a referent "for the atmosphere in the company. For all that is work, administrative or technical it is someone else who takes care of it", specifies the co-founder of Bayes Impact .

The important thing for this relationship to work, "is that there is no hierarchical link at all, the

buddy

's mission is to put people at ease and not to judge", specifies Pascal Corpet.

After a month spent in the company, the newcomer takes stock of "how he feels, how he experienced the integration".

Feedback not only to the

buddy,

but to the whole team, "to see what we can improve and what we can change".

For him, "it's interesting to take a step back, to see the company through the eyes of the new".

This makes it possible to see "what has changed, because sometimes everything is not rosy for the new ones", concludes Pascal Corpet.
