Saudi Arabia: The number of Coronavirus cases continues to drop to 822

Yesterday, the Saudi Ministry of Health announced that the number of confirmed cases of the new Corona virus (Covid-19) in the Kingdom will continue to decrease to 822, after it recorded 833 cases on Thursday, 816 cases, and 898 cases on Tuesday.

And the Saudi Ministry of Health announced, in a statement yesterday, that the total number of new infections with the Coronavirus (Covid-19), in the Kingdom, has risen to 319,141 confirmed cases, an increase of 822 infections recorded the day before yesterday.

And 1099 new recoveries were recorded, bringing the total cases of recovery to 295,63 cases (92% of the total recorded injuries).

The Ministry announced the registration of 33 new deaths, bringing the total number of deaths to 4,015 deaths.

For its part, the Kuwaiti Ministry of Health announced yesterday that 865 new cases of the new Coronavirus (Covid-19) were recorded during the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of cases registered in the country to 88,243, while a death case was recorded as a result of contracting the disease. , For a total of 537 deaths registered to date.

The official spokesman for the ministry, Abdullah Al-Sanad, said in the daily press release that all previous cases that were confirmed to have the disease "had been in contact with confirmed cases, and others were under investigation for the causes of infection, and examining those in contact with them."

In Syria, the former Syrian Minister of Agriculture, Ahmed Al-Qadri, died five days after leaving his post, after contracting the Coronavirus, according to the Ministry of Agriculture.

Al-Qadri’s death is the first in Syria for a government official of this level with the Coronavirus, noting that no other official has been infected with the Coronavirus, except for officials in the health sector such as doctors, pharmacists and lawyers, where more than 80 deaths have been recorded for them.

In Baghdad, the Iraqi Ministry of Health said yesterday that it had recorded 5,036 new cases of the emerging coronavirus, and 84 other deaths.

She added that the total number of cases reached 252,759 and 7,359 deaths.
