According to information from

La Provence

, the Assize Court of Bouches-du-Rhône sentenced to twenty years of imprisonment the author of an arson in a building in Marseille in May 2017 which had left four dead.

The facts had occurred in the Saint-Julien district.

The accused set the ground floor of this building on fire and caused the death of several members of the same family on the third floor.

The Advocate General had requested a twenty-five-year prison sentence against the accused.
