"Emergencies and Crises" amends the procedures for entering the Emirate of Abu Dhabi

The Abu Dhabi Emergency Crisis and Disaster Management Committee announced that it will amend the procedures for entering the Emirate of Abu Dhabi in line with a plan to expand and increase the scope of examinations and to strengthen precautionary measures for early detection of Covid-19 infections.

Residents and visitors of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, starting on Saturday 5 September 2020, will be able to enter the emirate upon presenting a negative result for the PCR or DPI test, within 48 hours of receiving the result.

The laser scan does not require a prior result from the PCR examination.

The committee also approved requiring residents and visitors to conduct an additional examination on the sixth day inside the emirate for those whose stay or visit extended for 6 consecutive days or more.
