Russian Prime Minister Mistustin visited Minsk, the capital of Belarus, on the 3rd and met with President Lukashenko.



According to the Belarusian state media, Mr. Mistustin expressed his willingness to assist President Lukashenko in touching on the close historical and cultural ties between the two countries.



In response, President Lukashenko denies involvement by emphasizing that European nations are requesting Russia to explain that "leaders of the opposition forces in Russia have used poisonous substances" as "manufacturing". He showed his willingness to support Russia.



According to the Russian media, Belarus has confirmed that it will deepen cooperation in the economic field, such as switching the port used for exporting petroleum products from Lithuania to Russia.



Regarding Belarus, Russia and Belarus are moving closer to each other while the three Baltic states, such as the EU and the European Union and Lithuania, are putting pressure on sanctions due to illegal acts in the presidential election last month.
