And he indicated that the session took place today, Thursday, and lasted for more than 5 hours and 20 minutes, and took place between the members of the Presidency Council and between it.

Earlier, the minister hastened to announce his compliance with the decision, demanding that the investigation session be public and televised. He said in a statement, "I am honored by my willingness to appear for the investigation and reveal the facts as they are, without courtesy or equivocation."

He demanded that the questioning and investigation session be public and broadcast live in the media to highlight the facts before the people, recalling his previous objection to security measures issued by armed parties not affiliated with the Ministry of Interior and the resulting abuse of the citizen’s dignity and rights and the waste of his blood.

Bashagha announced that the attack on the demonstrators was carried out by an armed group, condemning the kidnapping of some demonstrators and causing a state of panic among citizens.

More than a week ago, the capital and several cities witnessed anti-corruption demonstrations, calling for the provision of public services such as electricity and others.
