The victim, in the investigations of the Public Prosecution in Dubai, said that she was walking around the building she lives in the fourth district of Muhaisnah, and upon its completion and on her return to her residence, she was surprised by a person wearing a medical mask touching her from the back, so she turned and shouted at him So he ran away, and tried to run after him, but she could not catch him, because she was shocked and not possessed of her nerves, while no one heard her screaming given that the incident happened in the early hours of the morning.
She added that she went to her apartment and informed her husband, who quickly went down the building to search for the accused but did not find him, so he informed the police who sent their patrols immediately, and the recording of the surveillance cameras located at the site of the incident was returned, and the scenes were shown to the victim who got to know him, and then She went to the police station and gave her statement. It did not take long before the harasser was arrested on the same day, and the victim was personally identified with him.
For his part, a Dubai police witness said that a report was received to the police station about a woman being subjected to forced sexual assault, near one of the buildings in the fourth area of Muhaisnah, so a work team was formed, and the location of the incident was located in the corridor separating the victim’s building from another neighboring building, and they reached To a surveillance camera covering the area.
He added that by watching the recording tape, the accused was seen neglecting and surprising the victim from behind, while she was practicing walking, and he wore a medical mask, a pink shirt, a black watch and red shoes, so his specifications were circulated, and his movement was followed up based on smart surveillance cameras.
He pointed out that the efforts of the work team resulted in locating the residence of the accused in a neighboring building, so he was ambushed and seized during his exit from it, and facing him he confessed to committing the incident, attributing this to that he was under the influence of alcoholic beverages, so he was presented in a diagnostic queue with other people. The victim, she recognized him, and then moved to his residence and found the clothes that he wore when committing the harassment incident.
