The Russian Foreign Ministry commented on the Federal Republic of Germany's statement about "Novichok" from Navalny

"We are waiting for a response to the request of the Prosecutor General's Office on the situation around Navalny," RIA Novosti quotes a statement.

Berlin earlier said that research carried out by specialists from the Bundeswehr laboratory revealed a substance from the Novichok group in Navalny. 

Germany condemned the "attack" on Navalny and called on the Russian government to explain what had happened.

As noted in the Kremlin, the German authorities did not inform the Russian side of their conclusions regarding Navalny. 

On August 30, the German Ministry of Justice announced that they had received a request from the Prosecutor General's Office of Russia regarding Navalny's hospitalization.
