A 52-year-old man was tried Tuesday afternoon before the Brest criminal court for "public insults because of origin, ethnicity, nation, race or religion", reports

On December 20, the individual had insulted an employee of the departmental center of social action of “dirty Jew”.

He then left the scene with a Nazi salute.

Before the judges, the individual did not hide his anti-Semitism, even boasting "of being part of the great race".

"What is happening in Brest, the land of the Celts, makes me puke," he added, according to comments reported by the daily.

The fifty-year-old, who already has nine records in the criminal record, was sentenced to two months in prison.
