China Overseas Chinese Network, September 2 According to the website of the Chinese Embassy in South Korea, since August 24, the relevant regulations for Chinese and foreign passengers on South Korean flights to China with a negative certificate of the new coronavirus nucleic acid test (PCR) have been officially implemented.

According to the latest domestic requirements, in order to further reduce the risk of cross-border transmission of the epidemic and ensure your international travel health and safety, starting from 0:00 on September 12th, Seoul time, the time limit for the nucleic acid test certificate for Chinese and foreign passengers from South Korea to China will be 5 days before boarding ( 120 hours) is adjusted to 3 days (72 hours), other requirements remain unchanged.

The Chinese Embassy in South Korea reminds Chinese and foreign passengers who plan to travel to China from South Korea to adjust the nucleic acid test time according to the latest requirements.

The validity period of the HS code or health status statement held by passengers transiting from a third country to China via South Korea shall be determined by the issuing Chinese embassy or consulate.

Please be sure to pay attention to the validity period of the HS code or the declaration to avoid blocking the transfer, resulting in detention and repatriation.

The Embassy in South Korea has also compiled FAQs for travelers' reference:

Question: The nucleic acid test was performed on September 15 and the certificate was obtained on September 17. The certificate showed that the date of issuance was September 16.

Then when will the nucleic acid test certificate expire?

  Answer: September 16 + 3 days = September 19

Question: I have purchased a ticket to return to China on September 12, and have made an appointment to go to the hospital for nucleic acid testing on September 7 and a certificate on 8 days.

Can you board normally?

Answer: No, the test certificate issued on 8th is valid until 11th.

If boarding on the 12th, the earliest time for issuing the test certificate should be 9 days.

Question: Country X has not adjusted the time limit for nucleic acid testing.

After testing and uploading in country X, the HS code is valid for 5 days. When transferring in South Korea, the HS code is valid for 5 days or 3 days?

Answer: When transferring in South Korea, as long as the HS code or the health status statement held by the passenger is valid, the flight can be boarded normally.

Question: I got the nucleic acid test certificate, but I haven't approved the application after uploading the health code applet. What should I do?

Answer: Direct flights from Korea to China do not need to be uploaded. You can board the plane with the original test certificate.

Under such circumstances, please do not upload the test certificate, otherwise it will interfere with our normal review of the transfer personnel certificate.
