In Hong Kong, the government has launched a campaign to test the entire population for free.
The government wants to be able to locate healthy carriers and better control the situation, which is however far from alarming.
The opposition suspects the government of exaggerating the health situation for political ends and has called on the population to boycott this campaign of tests.
At the moment just under 10% of the population of 7.5 million people have signed up for testing.
On the first day, 126,000 people were tested in one of the 141 centers set up for the operation.

As he receives his flower deliveries at the Mongkok market, this 60-year-old employee says he just “does
n't have time
” to go to the testing center, which is next door. .
But he also explains why he doesn't understand the point of getting tested: “
Let's say you take the test, but the next day you may very well get it.
So it's no use.
But a lot of people don't want to talk about it because as you know the subject is sensitive.
"
Sensitive because questions were asked not only on the logic of wanting to test everyone rather than, as a priority, the groups at risk, but also on the protection of the information collected during this operation carried out with the support of the Mainland China.
While only 8 new cases were detected on Wednesday, several social distancing measures will be partially lightened from Friday.
Restaurants will be able to open an extra hour in the evening, but still no more than two people per table.
Schoolchildren will be able to return to school from September 23.
