The renamed department will attract labor to Katrineholm

The newly renovated premises in Kullbergska Hospital's interior house the department for medical intermediate care, Mima.

The capacity has existed before but under a different name and in older premises.

After applying to the regional management, the responsible doctors and unit managers at Kullbergska Hospital received permission to change their name from the medical emergency department to the medical intermediate care department.

- It means a lot to the patients but also to the status of the hospital, says the emergency department's head of the emergency unit Johan Edlund, who now sees increased opportunities for Kullbergska to be able to attract highly skilled labor.

Mima is a national and international concept in healthcare and, according to the managers, will make it easier to recruit skilled labor to the hospital.
