01 September 2020 The PMI manufacturing index in the USA disappoints expectations. The mixed opening of Wall Street - with the Dow Jones weak at -0.13% and the Nasdaq always strong at + 0.61% - does not convince the European stock exchanges, which are weighing down.

Milan lost 0.79%, Paris lost almost a point and Frankfurt over half. But the worst is London at -2.20%.

In Piazza Affari a large part of the industrialists and bankers suffer. The worst stock + Cnh at -2.86%, followed by Saipem and Telecom which lost more than two points. Up by around two per cent, Banca Mediolanum and Campari.
