The Real Madrid team conducted its first training Monday evening in the start of its preparations for the new season, and about half of the team was absent due to the 13 players joining their national teams, in addition to the absence of James Rodriguez, who refused to attend training in preparation for his transfer to the Premier League.

The French coach Zinedine Zidane supervised the training held at Real Madrid's Sports City stadiums, which included 10 players from the club's team that won the European Youth Championship last week, and focused on aerobic exercises to develop endurance, respiratory league, and stretching exercises to prevent muscle injuries.

The Spanish newspaper "MARCA" reported that Rodriguez is close to officially moving to the English club Everton, to meet again with the former Real Madrid and Bayern Munich coach Carlo Ancelotti.

The Colombian player decided to escape from Zidane's constant neglect of him, as he was always excluded from the main team list, but also the reserve, and he rebelled against him by not attending training until the procedures for his transfer to the Premier League were completed.
