Civilian killed in Mali by French soldiers after incident

A Malian civilian was killed and two injured by French soldiers of the anti-jihadist force Barkhane on Tuesday in an incident involving a bus that refused to slow down despite warnings, according to a statement from the French general staff received by the 'AFP.

About fifty kilometers west of Gao, "a bus heading at high speed in the direction of the (French) military convoy was the subject of summons", including a shot "directed towards the ground", but " two bullets ricocheted off the ground and went through the windshield, injuring three passengers, one of whom was seriously injured after being transferred to the Barkhane force hospital in Gao, details the staff.
