The Presnensky Court of Moscow has completed a study of evidence in a criminal case on a fatal road accident involving actor Mikhail Efremov, TASS reports.
“The judicial investigation has been completed, the debate of the parties is scheduled for September 3, 10:00 Moscow time,” said judge Elena Abramova.
During the upcoming meeting, the parties will be able to summarize the evidence, and the state prosecution will voice the punishment that will be requested for the accused.
After that, Efremov will be able to speak with the last word, after which the court will retire to pronounce a sentence.
At the meeting held on September 1, Mikhail Efremov said that he could not say with certainty that he was captured on the video from the accident site.
“I don't know if it's me or not.
Like yes, but like no.
I can't recognize myself by gestures, ”Komsomolskaya Pravda quotes him.
The actor again called for a biological examination of the passenger airbag.
At the same time, expert Aleksey Glushenkov said in court that the examination did not confirm the presence of traces of the epithelium of anyone on the passenger airbag of Efremov's jeep.
“I cut the steering wheel, steering wheel airbag, and passenger airbag.
Traces of epithelium and a small brown spot were found on the driver's seat.
But there were no traces on the passenger pillow, ”TASS quotes Glushenkova.
In addition, Efremov called the video filmed by the witness, in which he was pulled out of the driver's seat of a jeep after an accident, a fake.
According to RIA Novosti, the recording was made by a bistro employee Svetlana Nabokina.
"This video is fake, like everything connected with you," Efremov said, addressing the victims' lawyer.
His lawyer Elman Pashayev at the meeting doubted the reliability of the recording, noting that the video was allegedly obtained illegally.
However, the judge granted the request and added the video to the case file.
Nabokina also reported that Efremov was driving at the time of the accident.
The woman explained that she works near the place where the accident occurred, and after the incident began to film the incident on the phone.
She said that she saw a man taken out of the driver's side of the jeep.
“At that moment I did not know that it was Efremov.
I only remember that this driver was wearing a jacket and dark trousers or jeans.

Recall that on August 31, witness Ilya Babikov said during a court hearing that he personally dragged actor Mikhail Efremov from the driver's seat immediately after an accident in the center of Moscow.
“First we ran to the jeep.
I saw that a friend was taking a man out of the driver's seat.
I grabbed him and together we put the driver on a flower bed.
I'll find out it was Efremov, ”Babikov said.
After listening to the demands of the injured party, Efremov at the meeting on September 1 said "shoot", reports RIA Novosti.
The artist voiced this remark after the son of Sergei Zakharov, who died in the accident, Vitaly Zakharov called for Efremov to be sentenced to at least eight years in prison, and also demanded compensation.
Zakharov also asked to be informed about the movements and release of the actor from the colony if he was sentenced to a real term.
According to the lawyer of the injured party, Alexander Dobrovinsky, the video recordings prove that no one could get into Efremov's car before leaving for the Garden Ring.
Thus, Dobrovinsky commented on the statement of the defense witness.
“Yesterday the defense witness Tevan Badasyan claimed that he saw a man sitting in the back seat of Yefremov's car in Plotnikov Lane.
But on the video, provided by the prosecutor's office, it is clearly seen that there was neither a witness nor a person in the alley who would get into Efremov's car.
We can only guess where this witness came from for the defense, ”the lawyer emphasized in an interview with RIA Novosti.
It also became known that three victims in the accident case - Margarita, Vitaly and Valery Zakharov - refused to accept monetary compensation from the artist.

Efremov got into an accident on June 8 on Smolenskaya Square while driving a Jeep Grand Cherokee.
The car drove into the oncoming lane and collided with a Lada van driven by 57-year-old Sergey Zakharov.
A man with multiple injuries was hospitalized at the Sklifosovsky Research Institute, where he died a few hours later.
Efremov himself was not seriously injured.
According to the prosecutor's office, Efremov was in a state of alcoholic intoxication, and traces of drugs were found in his blood.
A number of media outlets stated that before the accident, he was allegedly in one of the Moscow pubs.
On June 13, the actor recorded a video message in which he asked for forgiveness from the Zakharov family, declared his readiness to help them, calling this proposal an attempt to atone for his guilt.
“Of course, I have no forgiveness from my wife, from my children, and from all those who believed me.
In general, it is unforgivable to get drunk behind the wheel, when an innocent person, a good man, my age, dies as a result, when such grief is in his family, ”Efremov said on the recording.
The relatives of the deceased refused to help and said they did not accept the artist's apology.
During a court hearing on August 31, Efremov said that he did not remember whether he was driving on the day of the accident.
He also added that he did not understand where traces of drugs were found in his blood.
Speaking about the moment when he admitted guilt, Efremov said that he was "nervous with a hangover."
