"FAKE BUBBLE": for his first reaction to his exclusion from the US Open due to a positive test for Covid-19, Benoît Paire denounced the health environment which is not as safe, according to him, as announced by the organizers.

"I'm fine for the moment I have no symptoms ... I hesitate to tell what is really going on in this FAKE BUBBLE", posted the French on his Instagram account.

He was excluded from the tournament after testing positive for coronavirus, under a protocol put in place by the American Federation (USTA) to be able to host the tournament in New York.

His exclusion caused the placing under ultra-restrictive surveillance of several other players, but on the first day of the competition, several have already denounced the porosity of the system.

Adrian Mannarino, himself under surveillance for having been in contact with Paire, explained on Monday that some people working at the venue of the tournament were returning home in the evening and that the system put in place by the USTA was more than one "secure environment" than a bubble.
