This was stated by Rear Admiral Alexander Grinkevich, deputy head of the Russian Center for the Reconciliation of Warring Parties in Syria.
He said that the first joint training of the military of the two countries took place on August 31.
"During the training, the issues of joint fire destruction of sabotage groups of irreconcilable bandit formations, as well as the evacuation of damaged equipment and the provision of medical assistance to the injured, were worked out," TASS quotes him.
Earlier, Russian military police conducted patrols in the Golan Heights.
