Last week, two men were shot dead in an open street. One case in Lidingö and the other in Husby. The murders are linked to an ongoing gang conflict in Järva in northwest Stockholm.
Last Friday, the Stockholm Police announced that they are launching a special operation called Portia. Through this effort, the police in the Stockholm area will be able to bring in more resources.
Robert Karlsson believes that one of the reasons for the escalating violence is that more people have been arrested and concentrated on leading figures within the gangs.
