A criminal case was initiated under the article "Assistance in terrorist activities".

Earlier, the FSB detained in Tatarstan a member of the Islamic State organization, who was involved in financing it, as well as recruiting and transporting Russians and CIS citizens to Syria. As noted by the Nation News, the detainee was recruiting by order of the emissaries of an international terrorist organization.
