The Ministry of Health and Community Protection announced that it had conducted 82,763 new examinations during the past 24 hours on different groups in society using the best and latest medical examination techniques, in line with its plan to expand and increase the scope of examinations in the country with the aim of early detection and counting cases infected with the emerging coronavirus (Covid-19) and contacts Them and isolate them.

The intensification of investigation and examination procedures in the country and the expansion of the scope of examinations at the state level contributed to the detection of 541 new cases of the emerging coronavirus of different nationalities, all of which are stable and subject to the necessary health care, bringing the total number of registered cases to 70,231 cases.

The Ministry also announced the death of two infected persons from the repercussions of infection with the emerging corona virus, bringing the number of deaths in the country to 384 cases.

And the Ministry announced that 331 new cases of people infected with the emerging coronavirus (Covid-19) had fully recovered from the symptoms of the disease after receiving the necessary health care since entering the hospital, bringing the total of recovery cases to 60,931.

In addition, the Municipality of Abu Dhabi City announced the reopening and operation of the shaded and open selling platforms in the vegetable and fruit market in Abu Dhabi, after implementing a number of preventive and precautionary measures aimed at protecting the safety of market workers and its public visitors.

For its part, the Municipality's Public Health Department confirmed that it had completed a plan to rehabilitate the platforms in coordination with the Abu Dhabi Center for Waste Management (Tadweer) in terms of site cleanliness, as all cleaning and sterilization operations were carried out for all vending pallets, and the municipality also conducted maintenance operations for public toilets next to the shaded platforms. And also the laundries belonging to the selling platforms, and the carts for loading goods to be ready for use by the public, and providing them with the necessary hygiene tools and sterilizers.

100% return of employees of government agencies in Umm Al Quwain

The Executive Council of the Emirate of Umm Al Quwain issued Circular No. 7 of 2020 regarding the return of employees to their work places in government agencies at a rate of 100% as of today.

The circular stipulated the abolition of all exceptions granted to employees working in the government, provided that the exceptions are limited to the following groups provided that their job duties do not require the necessity to be present at the workplace, and they are: Employees with chronic diseases so that their work continues remotely, provided that a detailed medical report is submitted and approved by the competent medical committee And female employees who pursue the education of their children in distance education at the school stage from the sixth grade of primary school and below, provided that they provide evidence that the children are registered in distance education, in addition to the female employees who care for their children at home from the people of determination, and whose health condition requires care Permanent under emergency conditions, based on the report of the health authorities approved in the country.

The circular also stipulated the continuation of the flexible working hours and the distribution of employees into groups upon attendance and departure to ensure that gatherings and mixing are reduced, thus achieving social distancing.
