The paving stone is black after Saturday night's car tire fire in the square and along several of Ronneby's shops and banks, lots of broken glass can be seen after all the broken windows. Outside one of the banks, virtually all windows along a 40-meter-long stretch have been smashed.

On the night before Sunday, a riot broke out when about 20 people threw stones at the police, rescue service and shop windows. One person and a policeman were injured by the stone-throwing. Three people were later arrested.

The police are on site in Ronneby all day

Richard Hagvärn and his colleagues at the police will be on site in Ronneby during the day to show presence and create security.

- Some are worried and want to know what has happened and we are here to talk to the citizens. At the same time, it is a small clique in the big picture that has done this, he says.

Looking at connection to Malmö

The motive for the riot is still unknown, the police do not currently know if it is related to the burning of the Koran in Kallinge on Friday morning and the unrest in Malmö.

- But it is something we are looking at, says Richard Hagvärn.
