A possible expansion of Preemraff in Lysekil would increase Swedish emissions significantly. Can the MP allow it?

- The question is whether the government can allow this. It is the government that has chosen to bring this to its table, says Lövin in Agenda.

But you are in government now, you are climate minister, can you allow this?

- I can not comment on that now because this is on the government's table. We need to address that. But if the government is to meet the climate goals, then we must find solutions in other sections to meet the climate goals.

Migration policy was triggering a government crisis. Is the Preemraff question just as important - are you prepared to leave the government if you can not stop an expansion of the refinery?

- These questions are of course important. But I do not see right now that it is a matter of us leaving the government. We are using this opportunity to test whether it is possible to allow such a large expansion that creates very much increased emissions.

But is the Preemraff question so important that you choose to leave the government because you cannot take part in such a decision?

- It is about emissions, about us meeting our climate goals. It is clear that this is an extremely important issue in principle.

But if it is as important as the migration issue, can you remain in a government that would allow such an expansion?

- Now it is about taking social responsibility - to ensure that we achieve what is the overall goal of the Environmental Code, namely that we should leave a sustainable world to our children and grandchildren.
