The Dubai Health Authority has stated that it has begun implementing an intensive monitoring and inspection plan on private schools in the emirate, to ensure its commitment to implementing the health procedures and standards it has set to ensure a school environment free from contagious diseases, according to the first public health specialist, head of the school health department, Acting Dr. Iris copper.

She pointed out that the monitoring and inspection processes will be intensive to ensure that everyone adheres to the specified procedures, in order to preserve the safety of students, teaching and administrative staff in each school.

Al-Nahas confirmed that the authority has recently developed an action plan to reopen schools in cooperation and coordination between the concerned parties, and issued new standards for school clinics, including specifications for isolation rooms, details of reporting infectious diseases, as well as issuing guidelines for the conditions for reopening schools, which include precautionary measures for prevention.
