The new Corona virus is still spreading in various countries of the world, exceeding 25 million infections, and in Latin America, one of the regions most affected by the epidemic, the deaths in Brazil exceeded 120,000.

The following are the most prominent developments and news of the spread of the virus around the world on Sunday, August 30, 2020, according to the time of Makkah:

02: 30- Mexico's numbers continue to rise
The Mexican Ministry of Health said that 5,974 new cases of Coronavirus were recorded during the past 24 hours, in addition to 673 new deaths.

With these numbers, the total toll from the epidemic in this country, which is considered one of the most affected countries in Latin America, rises to 591,712 HIV infections and 63,819 deaths.

The Mexican authorities say that the real number of cases of Coronavirus may be much more than the declared cases, given that there are people infected with the virus who do not go to hospitals and health centers.

00:45 - Brazil deaths exceed 120,000

The Brazilian Ministry of Health announced the registration of 758 deaths and 41,350 new cases of the emerging coronavirus during the past 24 hours.

Brazil has so far recorded 120,262 deaths and 3 million 846,153 confirmed cases of Coronavirus.

Brazil is the most affected country in the world after the United States in terms of the total number of deaths, but the number of new daily infections and deaths has begun to stabilize in recent weeks.

00:30 - Egypt records 14 new deaths
The Ministry of Health in Egypt announced, on Saturday, 212 new cases of Coronavirus and 14 deaths, down from 223 infections and 20 deaths on Friday.

Ministry spokesman Khaled Mujahid said, "The total number that was registered in Egypt with the new Corona virus until today, Saturday, is 98,497 cases, including 71,302 cases that have been cured, and 5,376 deaths."

He added that the ministry "continues to raise its preparations in all governorates of the republic, follow the situation first-hand regarding the Corona virus, and take all necessary preventive measures against any viruses or infectious diseases."
