Back to school takes place Tuesday for children, and Monday for teachers. Everything must be prepared according to fairly strict sanitary rules, and some even go even further: this is the case of a school in Cergy-Pontoise where virucide, marking on the ground and "clearly established rules" are part of the game.

REPORTAGE

Everything is ready at the Hazay school in the city of Cergy-Pontoise to welcome the children on Tuesday for the start of the school year. The administration even wanted to go beyond the Blanquer protocol to fight the coronavirus epidemic. "It's more restrictive than a normal return to school, and we will do as usual and even a little more", confides the director of the school Olivier Flipo at the microphone of Europe 1.

Virucide and floor marking

Classes, refectory, playground, all the premises have been thoroughly disinfected by Christopher Ozanne's teams. "Not having yet any students, we only spent the week to disinfect the tables, chairs, furniture. We used a lot of virucidal product. We are going back to the same process as the deconfinement, the small concern being the number. of students who will not be the same, ”he explains.

The marking on the ground is the same as in June but this time, there will be no question of mixing the students, for example by bringing together two classes in the same place at the same time. "Clearly established rules, understandable by children, families, teachers", this is what the elected deputy education Claire Beugnot has been working on all summer. "We wanted to anticipate a possible tightening of the rules, the idea being that it is clear for children but that it does not change all the time either."
