On Friday, Mjölby municipality's second preschool was inaugurated, where they especially focus on small groups of children. The experience so far is good.

- I have worked for many years as a preschool teacher and I have chosen to move here. It is a dream to be a part of this, says Therese Axén, preschool teacher at the newly opened Sörby preschool in Mjölby.

Hear her and Stefan Nilsson Ekvall about why they think it's so good in the clip above.

The preschool is built according to the Swedish National Agency for Education's recommendations for smaller groups of children, but has the same distribution of resources as other preschools in the municipality.

- We have had some study visits from other municipalities on Måndalen, which is the first preschool we built with the same principles, says Stefan Nilsson Ekvall, operations manager in Mjölby municipality.

He believes that it does not take more for a building like this than a traditional preschool.

- In this case, we have built cheaper than many other municipalities.

Principals, operations manager and architect developed the concept and have used the same concept for three new preschools in Mjölby. This means that you do not have to design for each preschool.
