August 29, 2020The German-flagged ship 'Louise Michel', funded by British street artist Banksy, continues to launch SOS via Twitter, denouncing an unsustainable situation on board and a Europe that "ignores our emergency calls for assistance immediate".  

On board, there is already a dead man and the organization in its last tweet a few minutes ago renewed its appeal: "We repeat - reads the message - #LouiseMichel is unable to maneuver safely and no one comes to our aid. The rescued people have suffered extreme trauma, it's time for them to be taken to a safe place. We need immediate assistance. "

In the previous tweet, the organization had explained that the ship "is no longer in control of its maneuvers due to the overcrowded bridge". On board there is a crew of 10, reads another tweet: on a 30-meter boat there are "219 survivors, 33 are still on a life raft and one deceased person is in a body bag" . Many of the survivors have "fuel burns - the organization explains - they have been at sea for days and are now left alone in a search and rescue area. EU (!) ... Do your job. Save them".

The rescue of 130 migrants
Yesterday the ship had assisted 130 people, "including many women and children, and no one is helping us", explained the organization. "There is already one dead on the boat. We need immediate assistance. "Then the description of a situation on board close to a" state of emergency ".

We repeat, #LouiseMichel is unable to safely move and nobody is coming to our aid. The people rescued have experienced extreme trauma, it's time for them to be brought to a #PlaceOfSafety. We need immediate assistance.
