In the video ... revealing the truth about the image of the orphan girl spread on social media

The picture is just a work of art, and behind it is not a tragedy.

Social media users share a picture their publishers claim is of an orphan child whose mother has drawn on the floor to sleep in her arms. However, the claim is wrong, as the photo was taken in 2012 by an Iranian artist of her cousin's child, and it does not reflect any tragedy.

The picture shows a baby girl asleep in the fetus's stomach, a woman who has been chalked on the floor.

And he wrote in the accompanying comment, "An orphan girl whose mother drew on the orphanage ... and slept near her."

Other users commented that the photo was taken in an orphanage in Iraq, where "the child drew her mother, who left her there ... and took off her shoes, and placed her head on her chest."

This image has been roaming social media pages since 2014 in Arabic and French, and many users have interacted with it, expressing sympathy in their comments.

artistic work

But the picture is not, in fact, of an orphan child, nor does it involve any tragedy.

Searching for it by Internet search engines leads to similar copies bearing the name Bahareh Bisheh.

In light of this, the image was searched with the addition of this name, which led to an account through the Instagram application of an Iranian "artist, painter and photographer".

This photo was posted on the main account photo (on the date of preparing the report).

The account includes other pictures of children surrounded by chalk drawings.

There is no misleading post or information about it among those images.

As a result, the news health investigating team in "France Press" searched the "Flickr" account referred to on the artist's Instagram account.

Here, he wrote in the caption accompanying the photo that it is titled "I have a mother" and was taken on July 15, 2012 by "Bharat Bishah from Iran".

The picture does not capture a tragedy

In the comments box there is an explanation by the artist herself about this photo and the circumstances in which it was taken, so she wrote in English: "This child is my cousin and she slept on the asphalt in front of my house. She had played for some time, so she lay down to rest and sleep."

She added, "I stood on a chair to take a photo that has nothing to do with any orphanage and does not carry with it a tragedy. I seized the opportunity to take a creative photo."

The photographer indicated that the photo can be used as long as her name is mentioned.

The "France Press" journalists tried to communicate with the photographer through her Facebook account, without receiving a response until the date of preparing the report.

But browsing her Facebook account, you can notice other pictures she took as part of a group called "My World and Chalk".

In 2014, a video clip of this group was shown on YouTube by the 31-year-old Iranian artist.
