A fire originating in the area of the river Padrón has caused serious damage in commercial and residential areas of the Malaga municipality of Estepona and has forced the Junta de Andalucía to decree level 1 of the Emergency Plan.
The Esteponero mayor, José María García Urbano , has reported through social networks that about thirty homes, a well-known hotel establishment and a shopping center have had to be evicted , although he has specified that fortunately there have been no victims .
