The court in Moscow arrested the ex-head of RSC Energia

"To elect in respect of the accused Solntsev a preventive measure in the form of detention for a period up to October 3," - said the judge.

It is noted that the court will also consider petitions for the arrest of other defendants in the case.

During the meeting, the judge said that Solntsev and other defendants were accused of embezzling over 1 billion rubles for the supply of an electronic component base for the ISS Science and Power Module.

In August 2018, Solntsev's powers were suspended at RSC Energia.
