El Al, the Israeli airline, will operate the first direct flight between Tel Aviv and Abu Dhabi next Monday, and will carry a joint American-Israeli delegation to begin laying out the terms of the Israeli-Emirati normalization agreement.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced earlier that the head of the Israeli National Security Agency, Meir Ben Shabat, was assigned to lead a specialized Israeli mission to discuss the details of the normalization agreement between Tel Aviv and Abu Dhabi.

The US mission accompanying the Israeli mission will include National Security Adviser Robert O'Brien and Jared Kushner, an advisor to US President Donald Trump.

Informed Israeli sources said that the flight between Tel Aviv and Abu Dhabi will pass through Saudi airspace, in a move that these sources considered as Saudi blessing to the normalization agreement.

And Netanyahu had revealed shortly after the announcement of the normalization agreement with the UAE that the agreement includes direct flights between Tel Aviv and the UAE airports, passing through Saudi airspace.
