Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid meets with the graduates of the first batch of female students nominated for the Dubai Police Academy

His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Executive Council, affirmed that Emirati women, thanks to the unlimited support of our wise leadership, have proven their worth in all fields, and have been able to achieve qualitative achievements not only at the local level but also at the regional and global levels, and that She is trustworthy within the leadership positions she has held, and she has succeeded in performing all the tasks entrusted to her with efficiency and competence, as a partner in life, a pillar of the progress of society, and an influential element in building and managing institutions.

This came during His Highness’s meeting with the graduates of the first batch of female candidates who joined the Dubai Police Academy for the 2016-2020 class, in the presence of Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri, Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police.

His Highness said, "Today, in the field of a security policeman, we are proud of the graduation of the first core of female candidates who took upon themselves the responsibility of defending the homeland and ensuring its security and the safety of its members and protecting its gains."

His Highness the Crown Prince of Dubai congratulated the female candidates for their graduation with distinction and distinction, and their winning of sports championships at the state level, directing His Highness the graduates to be up to the responsibility entrusted to them and to be the best model for Emirati women working in the police and security field.

His Highness added: “Since women joined the Dubai Police General Command in 1967, and they have been in a continuous progression towards leadership, and have demonstrated excellence in their administrative, organizational, field, military and applied sciences capabilities, and today, we are pleased to culminate those successes with a proactive step that Dubai Police anticipated four years ago. By opening the door to joining the Dubai Police Academy for the female component, as the first batch to gain this opportunity at the level of the Arab world, and to be able to study the four-year system within police colleges just like the male affiliates, and this is a source of pride and pride for all of us, and it proves that we are moving steadily in Enhancing the UAE's position and its global competitiveness within the global indicators related to gender balance at all levels.
